We arrived in San Francisco at 1pm (9pm GMT) on Friday following our 19 hour trip. Quite a number of our fellow passengers were also destined for the conference - some of whom we already knew whilst others were easily identified via their iPhone/iPod and MacBook combo. There is a real buzz about iPhone development at the moment and it seems that most people we meet are developing multimedia content and/or applications for it - so there will be ample opportunity to investigate ways in which we may be able use this exciting technology.Upon our arrival, the time difference allowed us to book into our hotel and then do some initial exploring. The city richly deserves its reputation as being the 'Paris of the West' with is stunning architecture, spectacular views, and fascinating history. We'll have a good chance to look about more over the weekend and prepare ourselves for the week ahead.
